Your movie-themed hotel in the heart of Alicante’s Old Town
Fifty-seven rooms and no two alike: each one has its own hand-painted mural inspired by a film, and the rest of the hotel is decorated with that same cinematic experience in mind.
We're at Calle Gravina 5, in Alicante's old town: step outside and you're already in the centre. Postiguet beach and the Explanada de España are a 5-minute walk away, and the Mercado Central is 10 minutes on foot. Santa Bárbara castle sits right above.
The hotel has a heated pool, open from 9am to 6pm and warm all year round, and Cuppola, our seventh-floor rooftop serving film-inspired cocktails and tapas with the best views over the old town. If you'd rather not skip a workout, there's a fully equipped gym on floor -1: treadmill, bikes, weights, TRX and mats.
Whether you're here for a weekend break, for work, or for a few days of beach with a city attached, the idea is the same: your room shouldn't just be the place where you sleep.

At DormirDCine Alicante, most of it happens upstairs. On the seventh floor you'll find the heated pool, open all year round, and Cuppola, our rooftop bar serving film-inspired cocktails and tapas with the best views over the old town. Downstairs, on floor -1, there's the gym — treadmill, bikes, weights and TRX — and the 50 m² Cooltural room for meetings and events of up to 50 people.

Cocktails named after films and creative tapas, on that same seventh floor beside the pool. Open from April to October, 1pm to midnight, and you do not need to be staying with us to come up.

Cooltural Meeting room
The Cooltural room is 50 m² of flexible space for meetings, presentations, training sessions and exhibitions. It can be set up U-shape for 18, classroom for 20, boardroom for 16 or cocktail style for 50. Get in touch and we will send you the floor plan and a quote.
